Aquip Media Filter

 Aquip (uh-KWIP) is a patented† media filtration system for enhanced industrial stormwater treatment. Aquip is available in several performance levels, each specifically designed for the removal of stormwater pollutants such as suspended solids, turbidity, heavy metals, organics, and nutrients. Targeted metals include copper, zinc, iron, lead, aluminum, nickel, cadmium. Typical reduction of metals is 90-95% through Aquip which depends on the inlet concentrations and other water chemistry. Influent to Aquip should typically be less than 100 mg/L TSS. Aquip is an above-ground retrofit system typically used in a pump-and-treat configuration.
